The New England Patriots will be wearing their all-white uniforms for Sunday’s Week 17 game against the New York Jets. This news was revealed through the team’s social media channels on Friday.
The all-white uniforms have quickly become a fan-favorite with the team recently wearing them for last week’s road matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. There’s hope that the team performs as well as they did while wearing them in that game.
The Patriots overcame an 11-point deficit to beat the Ravens in their home building at M&T Bank Stadium.
They’ll try to keep racking up wins when heading on the road to take on the Jets on Sunday. This will be the second meeting between the two teams this season after the Patriots handed the Jets a 27-14 loss in Foxborough in Week 11.
The Jets will be looking to play spoiler for the Patriots in a game where they could clinch the AFC East division, depending on what happens in the matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles. It might not be a primetime football game, but there is plenty on the line for this AFC East divisional showdown.
